WONDERFUL PEOPLE AT THIS TIME OF YEAR! (still)
self ^ | 12/19/07 | A Navy Vet

Posted on 12/19/2007 1:56:50 PM PST by A Navy Vet

Just wanted to remind the good people of this forum that throughout all the nastiness of politics; the ugliness of some of our own humanity; the cynicism we read about, talk about, and fall under its influence...

This time of the year is a time to thank those who unselfishly give to our Troops, as well as, many many others.

Operation Gratitude

Salvation Army

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

To All My Democrat Friends:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes.

To My Republican Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Er...uh...how many months has it been now? Excuse me while I do an emergency floss...:)

BTW, I would like to thank your profession for making my recent root-canal absolutely painless. You dentists and your technology has come a long way, and I'm sure few thank you for it. I appreciate it and so does my incisor.

I’m no hero. I’m proud of my 11 years in the US Navy, but troops on the ground are the heroes. Bless them and keep them safe.

Haha! I just read your post. However, you forgot to give best wishes to the Moscow on the West (SanFran) while they do their best to protect their citizens from high fructose corn syrup.

Yes, you read that correctly. Frisco city has passed a law against sodas that have the above ingredient. Merry Christmas to them...and all a good night...

"OKAY....I want to know how it was painless....I have to go in for a crown replacement and new crown......and I HATE the needle!"

Here's the trick: theDentist with all his years of education learned that if he wiggles your lip while giving you the injection it distracts from any slight pain. Think lip flapping and go to your safe place :)

That said. I have never attended denistry school, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn.

No, they haven't. There's a proposal to slap a tax on those sodas. The real story is absurd enough that there's no need to exaggerate.
