Putting Faith into Action

The Forum invites you to participate in the following three events next month aimed at promoting faith, family, and freedom in our communities. It's a great way to start the New Year. For further information and reservations, email family@valleyfamilyforum.org or call 438-8966.

· “Capstone” (Jan. 10 – March 13): This is a series of seminars on how to help reverse the moral decline in our culture and promote Biblical values in public policy. Resources include materials from Focus on the Family and field trips to Richmond and Washington. Sessions are held at Lake Shenandoah each Thursday at 7 PM.

· Family Foundation “Lobby Day” (Monday, Jan. 21): Travel to Richmond for a briefing on the 2008 pro-life, pro-family legislative agenda and then meet with our Valley legislators. We will leave Harrisonburg at 7 AM and return around 6 PM.

· “March for Life” (Tuesday, Jan. 22): Join the 35th annual March for Life in Washington DC. Chartered buses will leave from Kline’s Dairy Bar in Harrisonburg at 8:00 AM and return around 9:00 PM. The cost is $20 per person, plus a buffet dinner after the march.

*** Please also reserve Thursday evening, April 3, for the Forum’s sixth annual “Salute to the Family” dinner at JMU! (Details to follow.)
