You really know how to put a knot in someone’s stomach don’t you...

There isn’t another person on this planet who disgusts me to the degree this person has.

If access to the kingdom of heaven depends on me forgiving this woman, I may very well wind up in trouble.

This is one person I have never been able to come to terms with. She remains as vile to me as the day she sat on that anti-aircraft gun and exploited our men in the Hanoi Hilton for her own purposes.

May God forgive me...

My FRiend, I would be on the same line as you. We bad.

But you know, as I see it, I’m not responsible for judging her eternal reward— but I do take responsibility for judging her actions.

And one cannot receive forgiveness if they do not acknowledge their trespass. The latter has to occur before the former can take effect.

Hanoi Jane has never acknowledged her trespass. Her mealy mouthed apology never was sincere and never held water, because her actions were far worse than just some youthful indiscretion of bad judgment. She was 35 years old at the time she went to North Vietnam in 1972.

Even actors have to grow up someday.
