Not surprising. They’re both strong on the war on terror, and both liberals. I respect McCain for his unwavering support on national defense, but I’d never vote for him because of McCain-Feingold, opposing Bush’s tax cuts, attacks on Christian evangelicals, and a host of other anti-conservative moves he’s made.

Ditto in the primaries. In the general, well, you do what you gotta do. Wouldn’t mean you expect great things from it, just that the alternative is worse.
Fortunately McCain won’t be there in the general election.
