His party IS weak on national security. If a liberal like Lieberman doesn't trust his own party's front-runners, why should the rest of us? 'Nuff said!

It’s not a bad move for Lieberman. Tomorrow he supports McCain and then in the general he can support the eventual G.O.P. nominee, It’s a baby step.

Well, I think he isn’t a member of that party anymore.

“You’d prefer he endorse one of the Democrat candidates?”

No, I didn’t say that. But since it’s McCain, what difference does it make?

It says volumes he doesn't think the Dems will look after national security in the White House.

You're falling for the same trap LIEberman has set for many other people. He's not strong on national security. It is a fact terrorists have entered this country posing as illegal aliens. Despite that fact he supports granting amnesty to illegal aliens. Living in Connecticut, I've seen him play both sides of the fence to expand his voter base. It's the same strategy the GOP has employed over many yeas to accomplish the same goal. The result is both parties melding into one and the GOP getting the type of candidates who support and agree with a socialist like LIEberman.

A lifetime ago he was Algore's running mate. Now he's endorsing John McCain! A quantum leap, politically speaking. There's no place for serious people in the Democratic Party anymore. I mean adults.

I couldn’t support that, with FRed’s health the way it is.

FRed must choose a strong conservative second, IMO.

Pay backs are hell - Lieberman puts a knife in the rats back.

This is good for McCain.

Feel free to send a paragraph through, stating precisely how any of the other GOP candidates would be head and shoulders above McCain.

(BTW, I'm slightly listing toward the Romney side, at this point. Thompson caves on abortion and homosexual "marriage.")

How about Republicans acting more like Conservatives?

Lieberman is a hawkish Democrat. McCain is a liberal RINO. They really aren’t all that far apart, politically, and both are veterans of that inbred good-old-boy club known as the United States Senate.

Those two would surely know where all the bones were buried around the US Senate.

And I wish we had a strong, effective, winning conservative leader running for president.

LIEberman is as much a RAT as he ever! He's trying to pretend otherwise to appeal to a larger base. He's been doing this for years.

Is McCain really any worse of than any of the front runners? I just want to win this next election and deny the presidency to Hillary or Obama.
