See what happens when people are forced to not say “Merry Christmas.”
Searching for the proper link, BRB.
The Christians (who weren’t acting very Christ like) wished someone (unclear who) Merry Christmas and were responded with the “Happy Hannukah” greeting.
CNN in this synopsis is now clocking the event as starting with the Hannukah greeting. Revisionist history is a bitch.
The Hannukah greeting was in no way an introduction for a beat down but the media is using this story for propaganda purposes. Victims and offenders mean nothing to them.
An AntiChristian gunned down people in Colorado and they’ve knocked that story off the radar. But this story of a good muslim standing up for a put upon Jew by some vile Christians has made the CNN International news feed.
I don’t believe a word of it.
Twas the month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
Why the Politically Correct Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people’s feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a ‘Holiday’.
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe’s the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny’s and Sears
You won’t hear the word Christmas; it won’t touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace.
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate ‘Winter Break’ under your ‘Dream Tree’
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holiday

Can’t seem to find CNN link.
Not all Muslim are bad, and not all Christians are good.
I lived in Turkey for a few years and found most of the people were good, hard working, loving people.
Wrong. Perhaps you didn’t read the entire article. The story says things started with the Merry Christmas greeting. Another link posted above also.
A Muslim, a Jew, and some thugs walk into a subway car . . .
“Doesn’t sound like a joke to me.”
OK, then. “He had a hat.”
Why, thank you and may you and yours have a Happy Kwanzaa!
My guess is they were looking for a fight with a Jew, and rode the subway saying Merry Christmas to anyone who looked Jewish.
The nerve of that Hebrew saying “Happy Hanukkah” and that Muslim coming to his aid! Don’t they know that Christmas is only for US...Sheech, you’d think Jesus was a Jew and born somewhere in the Mideast or something!
...”looked Jewish??”

The lead of this article makes no mention to any provocation (and no the response should not have been violence).
They should be beaten down for being POS...They just embarrassed a large majority of decent Christians.
In my experience in NYC, talking to ANYONE on the subway is an invite to harassment and a fight.
