The moment she spotted the young woman in the puffy silver jacket, Ginger Mayes screamed her daughter's name and rushed the escalator, oblivious of the other passengers streaming into the baggage-claim area at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Zarminah Al-Rabiah stepped off the escalator and into her mother's arms. The women clutched each other in a minutes-long hug, sobbing and then laughing.

Is “spirited” away synonymous with “snatched” or “ripped” away?

If you read the story, a relative of the woman was bribed for $500 to lead the snatcher to the children who were then whisked away to Saudi Arabia..........

Mayes, 49, of Lynnwood, said she fell in love with her ex-husband in Norfolk, Va., where she was working and he was stationed with the Saudi Arabian navy.

There' s lesson here that these stupid women never seem to learn...

Just another story of what can happen when a woman doesn’t put any real thought into picking a husband.

Depends on who did it & who's writing about it. Third world "culture" trumps woman in protected status by the politically correct.

... kidnapped ...

I've seen stories like this for years BUT some women never seem to grow a brain. They marry middle easterners anyway. It's hard to feel sorry for nitwits.

“Mayes, 49, of Lynnwood, said she fell in love with her ex-husband in Norfolk, Va.”

“East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet”.
“Marry in haste, repent in leisure”.
I hope it works out for them.

I saw that too.

Even the type of scum who would sell their own flesh and blood into slavery generally demand more than $500.

a family member took $500 in payment from her ex and led him to the children,

This family member should be an accessory to kidnapping if this person knew that the dad intended to kidnap his kids.

My sister-in-law’s daughter is bound and determined to wind up in that particular hole. She is a 3.9 GPA college senior and has never dated only foreign Moslems since she started at the university. I suspect she will marry the current one. She is a super-intelligent(IQ) brat and is an illustration that high IQ can be detrimental to survival or displaces other faculties that are necessary.

Way back in the late 60's I worked with a nurse in Oklahoma City who had married a mid-eastern guy--don't remember where he was from.

He took all 3 of their kids ostensibly to visit his family--and she never saw them again that I know of, even though she was spending a lot of money with a lot of agencies to get them back.

My niece married a muslim. They now have a baby. Their marriage is a strange one. She doesn’t even know what’s in his bank account. It’s a very strange marriage. I hope she doesn’t leave the country with him - especially with their baby. I love her, but what a stupid, stupid girl.

It is amazing to me that they are not turned off by them before it ever reaches the dating stage.

Surely they talk and discuss beliefs.

It is amazing to me that they are not turned off by them before it ever reaches the dating stage - My guess is all women do not care too much for equal rights, they want a man to take care of them and since American men are totally discouraged and in fact vilified for acting like men, they have been taught by society to be submissive to women.
