Mika Brzezinski: back on the crime beat with another loopy liberal take on reality . . .
Yesterday, the resident lefty on the Morning Joe panel -- defying the facts of the volunteer guard who stopped the Colorado church shooter -- labeled as "the most inane thing" she'd ever heard the notion that one armed citizen could make a difference.
Today, in a breathtaking bit of revisionist history, Brzezinski tried to credit notoriously lax former Mayor David Dinkins rather than Rudy Giuliani for making NYC safe. So fierce was the firestorm she received from Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough in reply that, as pictured here, Mika ultimately took refuge under a sheaf of paper.

Mika is trying to elbow joe right out of the picture - she always interrupts him and smirks when anyone says something she does not agree with - she also editorializes the news as she reads it often putting her 2 cents in....

I am not a Giuliani fan, but Dinkins was a disaster and crime was out of control and business was fleeing the city.

I thought it was common knowledge that Dinkins was the cause of the problem.

Tuned in to this mess this morning for the first time. I have to say that ... Morning Joe is simply unwatchable!. It has all the production values of your local community access channel and three vapid idiots to boot.

In 1993 I had a letter published in the Voice of the People section of the NY Daily News which said, essentially:
Isn't it ironic that the death of a black at the hands of a group of Italians caused the city to vote a Jew out of office and replace him with a black, and now the death of a Jew at the hands of a group of blacks will cause a black mayor to be voted out and replaced with an Italian?

Given the opportunity, Mika would argue that Jimmy Carter ended the cold war.

LOL! That's like crediting Harry Reid with the success of the troop surge!

There was a funny part earlier in the show when they were discussing water boarding. Joe’s position is it’s enhanced interrogation, Mika of course calls it torture. Joe said “for the sake of argument” and Mika started to object and Joe said something like “now Mika that’s how intelligent people discuss things” and she shut up. It was like when Brit Hume slaps down Juan Williams.

You have got to be kidding me. Remember under Dinkins liberals claimed NY City was ‘ungovernable’? I do. Guiliani deserves all the credit.
To: governsleastgovernsbest; All
Mika’s comments are resulting in the other liberals coming to the defense of Guiliani!!!!! Hmmmmmm. Is there an agenda here?
