It's a plan that not only would expand Russia's territory and national prestige; it could also give Mr. Putin, required to step down when his second term ends in March, a new lease on power by producing a fresh Constitution.

Isn't this like a "merger" between Microsoft and Acme Software of Podunk, Iowa?
No disrepect for Belarus intended.

I hope Vlad at least has the common courtesy to offer the Belarusians a reacharound.

Seeing how the ruling dictator of Belarus is propped up by the Russian regime, such a marriage is only logical.

I wonder if this is the Revelation prophecy about the beast with the mortal head wound that everybody thought was dead, but came back to life?..........

LOL
Some thought so.
And because it’s dead and buried and we don’t want a return to the “Cold War” like scenario we will just all ignore the reality today.

Hmm... Eerily similar to Hitler’s plan, what with the Czechs, Austrians, etc.. Not saying Putin=Hitler, but is sort of disturbing.

Sorry to learn this. I know a couple from Belarus. They are ex-communists who came to this country right after the old USSR dissolved....the wife needed brain surgery and received it free of charge by some excellent American doctors. She fully recovered.
He spoke to my church .... I asked him how did communism take over in the USSR - he said, “We forgot God.”
I said is it possible the USSR could happen again, that communism could made a “comeback”....
He said, “There are fools in every country.”.
I pray he gets OUT of Belarus while he still can.

And yall thought the Soviet Union was dead........This was all so foreseeable. It's horrible but if it finally put down the globalist fantasy of "The New World Order," that would at least be a silver lining.

How did that “merger” with Afghanistan work out back in ‘79?
To: RichInOC
I hope Vlad at least has the common courtesy to offer the Belarusians a reacharound. Actually if the Belarus people are smart they would jump on the deal considering that they are under a dictatorship right now.
