Now, Congress is also forbidden from prohibiting the free exercise thereof. Hence, the law of the land says you can not tell me that I can not put a manger scene or the Ten Commandments up. You can not tell me I can not pray. You can not tell me I can not say the Lord's name.

It is ironic that in their zeal to overinterpret and so strictly enforce the first phrase of this Amendment, the courts and legislators overlook the second. One could logically argue that every decision striking down display of a creche, or a cross, or a tablet of the Commandments, or silent prayer in schools, is a violation of the free exercise thereof clause.

Think this is bad?

Wait ‘till the ACLU learns what “Sacramento” means.

Using this reasoning it’s unconstitutional to teach the Declaration of Independence in school.
