Skimming the article ... the only thing I agree with Pat is the border crisis. What is worse is these ILLEGALS refuse to assimilate. Instead they want to turn the U.S. into a THIRD WORLD country - what they LEFT. They want to bring US down to their level. Why they LEFT there country is WHAT they are trying to turn US into. THAT is a MAJOR problem.
His isolationist philosophy slips in on the other issues. On these issues I disagree with Pat.

Also, we're in the middle of a cultural civil war, where one half of America and the other half disagree about the fundaments of right and wrong and morality and immorality. He's right about this, too. Children in California no longer have mothers and fathers.

They want to bring US down to their level. Our own government wants to bring us down to what they consider the appropriate level so third world countries can be brought up and compete. The working stiff is fighting it is what I see and gaining little ground against big business. Is this now how we became a Service Country rather than a Producing one?
