The following link to me demonstrates what Buchanan’s world view is missing. I will not dispute what open borders has and is doing to US. I consider it a capitalist maneuver to opt out of the monopoly of union wage controls. The ugly side is NOT freedom it requires taxpayers to fund all those benefits that government requires of employers. Capital -ism is going to the dark side.

As I said, I don’t agree with Buchanan on everything. I think he is wrong on several vital issues. But he has got this thing right. When he was on Lou Dobbs last week, he said we should bring our troops home from Europe and Korea and station them on the border. I wish that would happen tomorrow.
