RIVERDALE, Ga. Two unsuccessful city council candidates in Riverdale say a fellow candidate committed fraud when she ran as a woman.
Georgia Fuller and Stanley Harris who lost bids for council seats filed petitions in Clayton County Superior Court last week asking the judge to stop the upcoming runoff election. The lawsuit alleges that incumbent Michelle Bruce who identifies herself as transgendered and goes by Michelle Mickey Bruce misled voters by identifying herself as a female during the Nov. 6 election.
The suit, which identifies her as "Michael Bruce," asks a judge to rule the November election results invalid and order another general election.

The article describes him or her as the incumbent, which suggests that the voters don’t care which or whatsit or whoall the candidate are.
Weird stuff.

The only way they have a case is if he never used the name Michelle before running (in other words, the ballot was the first time he called himself Michelle.)
I noticed the motto on the city seal is “A City That Cares.” Apparently not :)

My guess this suit is mostly to bring publicity to the fact that Michelle is really a man, and that there may have been some questionable activities by the local elections superintendent.
I doubt the lawsuit will have stop the runoff, but it will publicize these issues before the runoff election, which is where voters will get to decide if these issues bother them.

So homosexuals have sex with men because they prefer the sexual equipment of men to that of women.
So why is it that some men then get boobs but keep the lower part? Is grabbing your own boobs that much fun?
And who are these “prefer the company of men” guys who hook up with “women” who used to be men and have gone all the way with the surgery? Why not just find a woman to begin with?

And Clinton misled voters by identifying himself as a middle-class-tax cutter and oh-so-many other things. My thoughts exactly. Misrepresenting oneself in an election campaign is done every year, it was the job of these losing candidates to make it known before the runoff election was needed, if they thought it would make a difference to the voters.
Frankly, I would think that this is the sort of gossip that small town America thrives on, and was already well known to the voters before the election. If they want a tranny for a public servant, then why not let them have one?

"

Ah, coffee, the miracle drug! I'm enjoying cup #2 right now.
Yes, that is a confrontational-looking expression, no doubt. But if somebody had just made me the subject of a lawsuit to overturn an election based on something that I felt was irrelevant to my holding office, I'd be kind of PO'ed, too.
I really don't care what my politicians look like, if we had only 'beautiful' people in public office, we'd be stuck with the John Edwards' of the world instead of the Fred Thompsons. I also don't care what plumbing they have in their pants, as long as they stay away from my pants--the wallet pocket, anyway!

How can you claim the public was unaware. Since campaigning against her because of being a transexual was the major campaign theme of some of the participants.
It appears people chose to elect her over whatever alternatives were presented.

You wouldn't know from the article, but Riverdale is part of the greater metro Atlanta area. We have more than our fair share of freaks.
