In reality, she’s eminently beatable. Her contentious history evokes unpleasant memories. She lacks her husband’s political gifts and rejects much of the centrism he championed. The health-care fiasco showed her style and ideology. All of which helps explain why, for a front runner in an open race for the presidency, she has the highest negatives in history.

All we need to beat Hillary is a credible alternative.

You would think that would be easy, but then we’ve got these “front runners” who sound like they’re being coached on how to sound like a conservative.

It is a small but telling story: she is tough, persistent and forgets nothing.

That means she is vindictive. Don't ever forget that.

Btw, I think Hillary is totally beatable. As you pointed out she has NONE of the gifts her husband has and its clear she can only win on controlled, contrived, elections. The only thing the GOP needs to do is to get serious and tough with her.

I will always take Rove's advice on elections, but OTOH, I think he is overrated and the 2006 debacle, which he was responsible for, shows that.
