Well, she sounds like a barrel of fun now, doesn't she?

This is the controversial new Rovian column - any campaign advice from him should be considered.

Thanks for posting this.

I agree, Rove's advice should be definitely considered and taken seriously.

I think the most important point is not to underestimate her.

"It is a small but telling story: she is tough, persistent and forgets nothing. Those are some of the reasons she is so formidable as a contender, and why Republicans who think she would be easy to beat are wrong. "

Add to that the vast Clinton machine that has been built up in the last 15 years.

She is beatable, but not easily. The ultimate Republican nominee needs to understand that. Rove gives a lot of good, specific advice.

“any campaign advice from him should be considered.”

Like this piece? “Aggressively campaign for the votes of America’s minorities.” Rove’s an idiot and that’s being kind.

How to beat Hillary? ...a stinging parody web site tailored to independent voters exploiting Hillary’s biggest negative - trust. There are plenty of anti-Hillary sites out there, but most of them are lame, corny, or so anti-Hillary they turn non political people off. We have to use the formula Comedy Central uses - ridicule via comedy that’s tied to political analysis.

Just think about how fun it would be to parody Hillary’s site and substitute her poll tested issue pages with the reality of her record?

Or creating pages for all of her “constituencies” like women, latinos, illegals, unions, environmentalists, gays/lesbians and all the rest with the real reasons she supports them tied to her ratings from related special interest groups along with her voting record and evolving stances through the years.

Using the power of the internet to bypass the MSM pro-Clinton filter is the way to go, especially with the widespread use of web video. Something like this would also get tons of free press and viral potential by utilizing the latest in internet marketing tactics.

Many people hate Hillary. I have never seen Bill Clinton, Al Gore, even Kerry, elicit the kind of dislike people have for her. It goes beyond simple politics, many people whom I consider centrist or even boderline liberal despise her.

That said, she has been methodically preparing for this since her sanate victory, and strategically the election is hers to lose. To defeat her we will need someone who is charming, who can be a contrast to the fundamental repulsion people feel towards her. Completely ignoring the issues, and looking exclusively at presentability, Huckabee would be good, Romney is also OK.

Something to keep in mind folks...

If CNN was willing to lie for Saddam, just what do you think they are willing to do getting Hillary! elected?

We have our work cut out for us...

’ And shortly thereafter, the junior senator saw me and, again, without a hint of humor or light in her voice, icily said she’d heard I’d repeated the story of the mirror and she … did … not … put … that mirror in the office.”

everything i have ever seen about her from 1992 forward implies she is vindictive and utterly humorless. nothing I am seeing now changes that, and if she is elected it will in great part be due to the media sheltering her from actually having to do anything to win the election, such as the cnn fraud debate last week.

This is the controversial new Rovian column - any campaign advice from him should be considered.

Considered and taken to heart -- not just because it's his, but because I read it, and it makes sense. But it shouldn't be treated as sacred writ -- his advice didn't do the job in '06.

pointedly said she hadn't put the mirror there

Well, maybe she had one of the Marines or Secret Service put it there for her. The question is..was the mirror there before she occupied the office?

From the column:

The GOP nominee must highlight his core convictions to help people understand who he is and to set up a natural contrast with Clinton, both on style and substance. Don't be afraid to say something controversial. The American people want their president to be authentic.

Duncan Hunter continues to look like the best choice.

And her? She tends to be, well, hard and brittle. I inherited her West Wing office.

Who used this office space in previous administrations? Why would a first lady need this kind of space? Is this office space the only office space in the White House befitting a co-president?

It is a small but telling story: she is tough, persistent and forgets nothing. Those are some of the reasons she is so formidable as a contender, and why Republicans who think she would be easy to beat are wrong.

Here we go again with that word formidable used here by Rove, I have heard President Bush and Vic-President Cheney both use that singular word in describing Hillry. I do not ever recall any of this group ever using that word to describe Saddam, or OBL or anyone else for that matter. Sure sounds like a warning IMO.

I would just add that the Republican candidate needs to have a good sense of humor.

Hillary Clinton is an angry, bitter, mean individual who couldn't spontaneously think of something funny to say if her life depended on it.

A Republican with unwavering conservative principles, unwavering loyalty to the Constitution, unapologetic, uncompromising devotion to border security and winning the war against Islamic fanatics, and a sense of humor will have Clinton on the defensive and off of her scripted game for the entire campaign.

Watch tapes of how Reagan did it and watch tapes of the election results pouring in. Do it like that.

Hillary was just showing that New York City "attitude"--which is why people from everywhere else in the country treat them like they carry a contagious disease.

A few "mirror mirror on the wall, who is the biggest b*tch of all" signs would seem to be in order.

:-)

Whom ever our candidate is for the Republican Party would be wise to keep bringing her Republican values she espoused when she moved to the center ie: Thank her for her conservative view on giving driving licenses to illegal immigrants etc.

Her base wants her to act and sound like the true socialist she is.

HOW TO START EACH DAY WITH A POSITIVE OUTLOOK

1. Open a new file in your computer.

2. Name it "Hillary Rodham Clinton"

3. Send it to the trash.

4. Empty the trash.

5. Your PC will ask you, "Do you really want to get rid of "Hillary Rodham Clinton?"

6. Firmly Click "Yes."

7. Feel better?

PS: Next week we'll do Nancy Pelosi
