George Noory considering presidential bid?

Nationally syndicated radio talk-show host George Noory, of the nighttime show "Coast to Coast AM," may be considering a run for the 2012 presidential election, WND has learned.

"I have never run for political office," Noory told WND in an e-mail, "but every night I am reaching out to millions of Americans on the radio and I am deeply concerned that the middle class of the United States is being sold out to multi-national corporations with a globalist agenda."

I am deeply concerned that the middle class of the United States is being sold out to multi-national corporations with a globalist agenda.

Ah, the perennial appeal of the nutbag vote.

It was inevitable that Art Bell would be followed by another “nutcase”.

I listen to Coast to Coast for about 30 minutes every morning during my commute. I find the show (and Noory, Bell, et al) mildly interesting and amusing, but I wouldn't cast a vote for Noory under any circumstances.

So, he’s running for Prez right when the world is supposed to end?

A campaign slogan that comes to mind:

Vote Noory because Lyndon Larouche is just too mainstream!

I am deeply concerned that the middle class of the United States is being sold out by multi-national governments and treaty’s with a globalist, UN, non-elected government agenda.

There, fixed it to reflect the real threat.

I listen to the show sometimes before I fall asleep. Sounds like Noory and his guests are almost always blaming GWB for all the world’s ills. You hear the show last week when there was the discussion about why we are not using all the oil available to us right in the US? The guest might even have been Jerome Corsi, who I thought was supposed to be a conservative. All the focus was placed on the oil companies and their desire for profits. Not one word was said about environmentalists and the problems they cause.

But Noory’s campaign UFO will be able to flash between stops at faster-than-light speeds through the eleventh dimension. Pass the string theory cheese!

"Sometime I wish the aliens would abduct me and crown me as their leader."
                                                                            George Noory

Noory's family is said to be of Lebanese Christian descent and his father was born in Cairo in 1922. According to Noory, he was brought up as a Roman Catholic and his mother was a devout Catholic. He says he believes in "a God", but some of his views, for instance, on reincarnation and the creation of the human race by aliens are contradictory with official Christian dogma.

Well, he'll likely have the alien vote locked in.

This will cause quite a dilemma for Ron Paul supporters.

Noory or Paul?

Paul/Noory 08 may be the answer.

“I find the show (and Noory, Bell, et al) mildly interesting”

It can be a fun show to listen too in the wee hours of the morning, but they should have a disclaimer that the show is for entertainment purposes only. Too many people, including an aunt of mine believe every single thing that gets said on that show.

Yeah. Art was much better. He managed to remain apolitical, and despite the nature of the program, subjects and guests, he was polite to them without always sounding like he was swallowing everything hook, line and sinker.

OTOH, George clearly has an ax to grind. Although he is of Lebanese Christian extraction he invariably supports the islamofacists. He also seems to actually believe anything a guest says.

I still listen to Coast to Coast, but I no longer make a point of listening to it.

It used to be a gold mine - tons of ore, ounces of gold - now it's played out...

Ever since Art Bell "retired" the first time, the producers they brought in have whatever host they have read the talking points they get from DNC at the beginning of each show.

The whole franchise has suffered from BDS, and normal guests need not apply most of this decade.

All the competent radio hosts out there, and they picked the utterly boring Mike Siegel, then George sNoory.

Yes, the show has gone down hill as of late. I actually found myself listening to a stale BBC interview with Norman Mailer this morning ‘cause Coast to Coast was so boring. Mailer, of course, was several orders of magnitude nuttier than Noory.

My guess is that their numbers continue to fall, and he's just doing this to try to get free publicity.

Most people have never heard of Coast to Coast AM, let alone George Noory, especially since it the show airs after midnight in the East.

Noory has managed to turn C2CAM into a parody of what was an entertaining, and occasionally informative program.

Anybody have the last numbers for Noory? I came across a blurb about one top ten market radio station (with its own programming/management problems) cutting back on the C2CAM.
