The common response is “I’m flattered but no thanks”? I’ll bet. How about if the kids involved use the same class of responses that young women commonly use towards young men who approach them? IIRC it’s rarely that gentle.

I think those words have been in that song for far longer than gay has meant homosexual. Gay was once a great word. It rhymes with the next sentence which ends in U-V-A. When I was a student there, one song said something about women not letting a Cavalier above their knee... they might beget a little Cavalier. I forget the words, unfortunately, and I’m sure they’ve been removed from the archives.

I am a MAN and proud of it!

I am a plain looking man with the 'jewels' where they should be!...

No make up, no ear rings, not even tatoos :). I don't need any of that because I am a MAN!

"Alex Cortes is a first year in the College of Arts & Sciences." Not for long....

My first thought, also. The poor kid.

Teal things don't bother me, but I do get irritated by mauve now and again.

Just "did" everything over in delft and shrimp!

LoL.

Yale students used to sing a parody version of the Harvard song, "Ten Thousand Men of Harvard" that went, "Ten thousand men of Harvard...nine thousand are gay!" I wonder if they are still doing that!

What’s the Old Dominion’s state song now, anyway?

"To Be Determined"
