LOL! France elects a competent conservative President and the media acts as if it's the collapse of Western Civilization.

France is blessed to have a President with courage to take on their socialist infants. If he's successful, in the future his name will be spoken as a blessing. Or as a taunt to throw leftist twits into convulsions.

I hope he prevails —

Maybe it will show our own Conservative leadership that it’s okay to take the Left on head-to-head - and weather the inevitable tantrums - to restore sanity here, too...

Sarko could be the leader of the free world, if the left outguns the conservatives in the USA that is exactly what will happen

Maybe Sarko can take a page out of the Ronald Reagan book and his dealings with the Air Traffic Controllers!

Ike, you’re either on drugs or crazy.
You’ve gotta know our RINO conservatives are in no way going to stand up to stupid liberal doctrine.

Striking University students clubbed at Nanterre. Beat them to a pulp.

UPDATE: French students who are against the strikers cheer the riot police as they club the racaille.”

There’s a video embedded in that post that shows the French cops laying into the protesters and a large crowd of students and other onlookers cheering for the police and yelling taunts at the strikers.

If Sarko has the stones to hang on, he will break the unions just like Thatcher did.

Bon chance, Sarko!

“Last night the rail unions in France went on indefinite strike...”

Sarkozy needs to fire them all, and hire nonunion replacements, immediately.

Personally, I think these strikes are going to be a major mistake for the Unions/socialists scum. All of France, *knows* things cannot go on the way they have been, that the Government needs to change. That’s why Sarkozy won so handily.

While these Unions may think they are going to bring the Govt to heel with these strikes...Most French are just going to go through their days, knowing the grief and aggravation they are suffering, is not being caused by Sarkozy, but by the striklers...and each day, the resentment and anger of the French people will grow against the Unions..Not Sarkozy or his Govt.
