I’m glad the hunter fared well. That said, I’ve always been frustrated because for all the woods bumming I’ve done in my life, I’ve never seen a cougar or a grizzly in the wild. I’d certainly want to be armed when I did, but I would very much love to see those animals outside someday.

We have seen several. No telling how many saw us that we did not see.

I have seen seen several black bears and grizzles in the wild but I was on bear hunts with Mr. Ditter so we would have been disappointed if we hadn’t. I wasn’t armed but everyone else was so I felt safe.

I saw a mountain lion in Sonora Mexico but by the time I yelled for everyone else to look he was gone. We were hunting mule deer so it was no great loss.
