If the sketch is anywhere near accurate, it certainly looks like a Latino with Hispanic-Indian ancestry.
Which is more important, bowing down to political correctness, or catching rapists before they repeat the offense?

Because the Spanish-speaking radio stations are refusing to say that the rapist is Hispanic, he remains free to keep on brutally attacking young girls..
I wonder how the parents of these children feel...
I hope they sue and put the stations out of business...

But Chandler police spokesman Sgt. Rick Griner said his department will stand by its description, saying they release the details the victims give them. That could make for some interesting news releases.

This Mayra Nieves is evasive ~ she's hiding something ~ maybe she recognizes the guy.
Time to take her in for some questioning.

I think this is racial profiling, said Mayra Nieves, vice president of programming for KMYL (1190 AM). Nieves said Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race.
If it's an ethnicity, why is it a racial issue?

A description is not “racism.”
“Racism” is when you expect something of someone BECAUSE of his race.
This guy is a rapist who happens to be under the descriptive umbrella of “hispanic.”

Accurately describing a wanted dangerous fugitive's race is racist. I guess describing the gender would be sexist, and describing the age would be 'ageist'. Oh yeah, describing his height is clearly heightism (look it up) :)

As a male human, I’m pretty irked that they are calling it a “male” and “human”, but if calling it that helps remove it from society, great! I just hope that people don’t go thinking that all rapists are human males just because this one thing might be.

Don't "hispanics" get preferential hiring through affirmative action?
How about virtually every job application, everywhere, categorizing as "white," "hispanic," "afro-american," etc?
Do amnestied "hispanics" get job preference over US taxpayers?

I’m waiting for a perps gender considered profiling. After that will be humans versus animals. Then they’ll get to animal/vegetable/mineral profiling delineation.

If he were described as a black male or a white male, would they still be “irked”?.......

Sorry, in criminal cases you’re allowed to identify the ethnicity of the suspect. That applies to blacks.

Construction worker Juan Mendez said he was questioned for two hours... Mendez said in Spanish that hes not angry police interrogated him, although he said police treated him with suspicion.Errr, did that "suspicion" include trying to find out if he was a "legal" immigrant?
