Do they say whether this was “found” before or after the dust up in the media?

Not the first time hillary has been caught stiffing wait staff. This is an obvious cover-up.

Was it found in the trunk of a hurricane ravaged car?
Or amidst billing records?
Maybe it was in Sandy Burglar’s socks.

I think they found the tip in the box of records from the Rose Law firm.

Since this story aired, Hillary Clinton's campaign contacted NPR to say that the campaign paid Maid-Rite a bill for $100 for food for the day of Clinton's visit and left $57 in tip money. NPR contacted Maid-Rite manager Brad Crawford, who confirmed that a bill was paid and tip money was left. So, apparently, NPR contacted NEITHER the Clinton campaign, nor the restaurant folks before airing the story.

Hillary Clinton at a Maid-Rite restaurant during a recent bus tour of Iowa. That is where she met waitress Anita Esterday.
I don't think she understood at all what I was saying. Anita Esterday on Hillary Clinton

Well the amount of the tip certainly raises some flags for me. This wouldn’t be the normal tip and it raises more questions than it resolves.

"where Hillary was sitting, there was no tip left." OK, let's assume that's correct. Can you say, "Political Tin Ear?" If your candidate is running for president, who in hell else would you want to leave a tip for the waitress?
If this was a Republican, they'd get more mileage out of this than "potatoe."

I guess if someone’s going to get stiffed, it’ll be Bill doing it...probably to a young intern!

I remember watching a movie with the family of Humphrey Bogart’s first movie - it took place in an out of the way cafe in the desert .... on the wall over the cash register was a sign that read “Keep your money - Tipping is Un-American” .... movie was made in 1935 ...
My folks don’t tip - if the server needs more money they should go to their boss not expect the public to pay their wages ... do you tip if some salesperson helps you find a shirt or something? Why only at restaurants and several other businesses ....??? Ok, tip the bartender at your favorite watering hole hoping you’ll get a little more but that’ll stop when they all go to computer pouring as in several places I’ve been ....
Just being curious here ... not wanting to develop this post into a debate ....
Thanks,
Regards,
Jane

I think the staffers bought food and left a tip and are claiming the tip they left was the “overall” tip.
Hillary’s sandwich was provided free. As she doesn’t lower herself to paying (or tipping) she left nothing for the waitress and the waitress knew that.
In the meantime, the owner, or someone at the register, pocketed the larger tip and didn’t tell (or apparantly share) the larger tip with the waitress that waited on and talk to Her Highness. As this was some days ago, she let it fester prior to mentioning it and hadn’t been told that the establishment got a tip from the staff sale.
When I travel on business, I tip more that what I actually list for reimbursement. I make sure the waiter or waitress gets the tip and, more importantly, personal thanks along with it. Food service is tough work.

Hillary has to tell the truth to set up her lies.
At this point she’s being managed too well. Her handlers will never allow a tipless wait staff.
Let’s stick to the issues....it’s what’s for dinner.
