What is a Toyota Fit? I have never heard of such a car.
Crossover = Station Wagon
.
I don’t like cross-overs because every one I see have a damn soccer ball on the back.
But that Enclave is nice. It is sharp. Way too luxurious for my muddy boots.
I just hope people don’t put those stick figures on the back glass that represent dad, mom, sisters, and puppy. I hate that almost as bad as the soccer balls.
I see those Buick crossovers all over the place, usually piloted by septuagenarians doing 35 on the highway. :)
I bought an 08 Acadia back in August, and am pleased with it. This is especially amazing to me, since I’ve not bought a domestic make in twenty years. Very roomy, as much interior space as a Tahoe, seats fold flat, nice styling inside and out, decent power and mid-twenties mpg on the interstate.
One thing to watch out for, though, is that GM had some problems with the programming for the new, electronically controlled 6 speed auto transmission (so have a lot of other manufacturers, too). Anything built before midsummer, better check to make sure it’s been reflashed, or you might be annoyed by the way the transmission shifts. There were a few other first year glitches on the 07 models, too, leaky door seals, odd behavior from the Stabilitrak, etcetera. That’s why I waited for 08.
Guess I stopped paying attention to the Big 3 too long ago...............
I first saw the Enclave in a preview online. I like cars but I am no enthusiast and I know squat about engines and all the technical terms (beyond the basics) and my first impression was that the Enclave was going to be, OFF THE HOOK (as the kids say.)
Enclave?
“In political geography, an enclave is a country or part of a country mostly surrounded by the territory of another country or wholly lying within the boundaries of another country,[1] and an exclave is a part of a country which is geographically separated from the main part by surrounding alien territory.[2] Many entities are both enclaves and exclaves, but not all are simultaneously both.”

My neighbor just got a Taurus X, SUV. Nice looking ride.
With all the folks getting ready to retire, Buick has a growing market ahead. :^)
I like the new Buicks, wouldn’t mind having one in the driveway. My wife’s Century is very comfortable.
I wish Buick all the luck in the world. I would hate to see another American automobile manufacturer go down the tubes (even though in some cases it’s deserved.)
We test drove the Enclave. Nice drive.
I own a 2006 Buick Lucerne. It has a better and quieter ride than my wife’s 2007 Caddy.
The big test IMHO is, how well they hold up mechanically/resale-value wise.
It’s a minivan. Call me when they make a car worth owning.
