I wonder if they will do a simulation of a news network making itself irrelevant?

Or isn't that what they're doing anyways?

And this story will get buried so deep, the worms won’t even be able to shed their droppings on it.

“What Would You Do?”

They'd best be careful, someone might not give the answer that they want them to.

ABC is doing a social experiment in Birmingham that includes having same-sex couples show affection for each other in public, according to Birmingham police department sources.

So, the couples will be in the shrubbery and restrooms at parks and rest stops?

IOW, they’re paying people to do shocking things in public and then wagging their finger at people who react to it. That’s maybe the dumbest experiment I’ve ever heard and the only thing it proves is that ABC is as full of crap as all the other networks.

Good God. What next? (I shouldn’t have asked.)

It’s bad enough abc has carried the nascar season the last half of this year, it’s always family programming on them yaknow at the track , run pretty tight,, and then they run ads for the upcoming desperately horney househussies that were pretty tasteless and suggestive, to say the least..

anything for a buck or two,, or an agenda.

Why don’t they just use scenes from “Deliverance” instead? Or perhaps “Brokeback Mountain”? ABC and Disney are a bunch of trashy folks themselves, and pulling this kind of stunt proves it.

I think they made a mistake going to Birmingham. On my one very plesant visit, I saw a college town with lots of coffee shops and book stores.

to engage in homosexual PDA

The only meaning I know of for PDA is "Personal Digital Assistant", which in this context is more than I wanted to think about.

"When you don’t feel like covering the news, you manfacture it."

This isn't manufacturing news. It's the same as candid camera. One of the outfits tried this by having actors drive cabs and blurt out racial, or ethic slanders. They may have found one taker that I remember. It was a great show, because I did get a huge laugh out of the reaction of 2 teenage girls that went for the ride. The cabbie shot off his mouth, and the 2 girls never looked at each other, or put on much expression. They sat next to each other and just texted back and forth. LOL! The more offensive the guy got, the faster they typed.

Per Wiki...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_journalism

Yellow journalism is a pejorative reference to journalism that features scandal-mongering, sensationalism, jingoism or other unethical or unprofessional practices by news media organizations or journalists. It has been loosely defined as "not quite libel".

The term originated during the Gilded Age with the circulation battles between Joseph Pulitzer's New York World and William Randolph Hearst's New York Journal. They ran from 1895 to about 1898 and can refer specifically to this period. Both papers were accused by critics of sensationalizing the news in order to drive up circulation, although the newspapers did serious reporting as well. The New York Press coined the term yellow kid journalism in early 1897 after a then-popular comic strip to describe the down-market papers of Pulitzer and Hearst, which both published versions of it during a circulation war.[1] This was soon shortened to yellow journalism: "We called them Yellow because they are Yellow."[2]

Making up the scenarios is bad enough ... but I’d bet dollars to donuts they don’t replicate the “experiment” across the US, north, east and west ... nor in other countries.
