I’ve got to admit that was pretty good. Good work, Fred.

Why is he going after Huckabee? Huckabee might be the guy who can end Romney’s attempt to buy the nomination in Iowa.

Because Huckabee moved against him first. Huckabee challenging anybody’s conservative record is laughable because he his is far from conservative.

I think these candidates should be ganging up on that Liberal Romney who is trying to wear conservative clothes. If he pulls off wins in Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan (Where he leads in all the polls) and maybe South Carolina (where it is close) it might be over. This guy is a Republican version of John Edwards and he has a lot of money to throw around. People better wake up and understand that he has a strategy that may very well work. If so, then we will have a choice between a NY Senator or a Mass. Governor. Barf!

Because Huckabee is the liberal media's current pet rock, and support that really should be going Fred's way is being attracted to this super nanny. I'm glad to see that Fred's fighting Huckabee's jokesy-folksy claptrap. Nobody really took the Huckster on during the debates, and they let him skate with the best one-liners.

Everybody's already discounted that Mitt Romney has bought and paid for Iowa. Unless he's willing to drain the entire fortune to buy the rest of the early primaries, Mitt is probably going to fizzle out by Super Duper Tuesday.

It was not only good in the sense of how well he spoke, but the importance of his last point. Huck’s leftist record is being overlooked. And as best I can determine, his record is not due to a tough political situation (i.e. like Romney who had to govern in a state of moonbats) but to his convictions.

Yesterday I saw him on CSPAN talking to a group of high school students. For too much of the talk, he sounded more like the high priest of touchy-feelyism than a Republican.

If Mitt wants to spend a bunch of money to lead there when it doesn’t matter a damn, let him go right ahead. Mitt’s been sinking millions of dollars in TV ads in those states.

The other candidates haven’t even started yet. What do you think will happen to Flip Flopney’s little leads when they do?

Huckabee is drawing social conservative support from Thompson, specifically in Iowa. Without Huckabee, Thompson is solid 2nd in Iowa and can challenge Romney; with Huckabee, Thompson could finish 3rd.

Because the Huckster is a spoiler, designed to derail Fred! by siphoning socon votes away and giving the race to Rudy. Huckabee is backed by the liberal media because outside of his socon views, he's still a liberal through and through and the MSM thinks that he would be the perfect compliment to Rudy as VP.

Fred saw a threat and took it down, I gotta give the Big Guy props here.

Don’t know. It doesn’t look like anyone is going to challenge him in Iowa. He’s got a lot of money to keep running those ads in NH, MI and SC. The only person I have seen taking him on is Mc Cain and he’s broke.

No, Huckabee is the real threat here, he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He needs to be slapped down because he's being pimped by the liberal media. Romney will crash and burn on his own.
