What do we need lawyers for? The law is on the books. Why should it need intrepretation? It’s clear as day. We need to endorse the laws on the books. Period.
Seal the border. Stop the freebies. Fine/strip license/incarcerate those who hire illegals.
Bingo! It’s called self-deportation.
Despite what people say, if it were simple, it would have been done by now.
I know I’m asking questions rather than giving answers, but someone has to be the House Skeptic. It’s an honorable role, as McPhee served Ransom in ‘’That Hideous Strength’’.
I can ask questions also. What do you think will result if actions against this Illegal Invasion is tied up in Our Court System for 4 or 5 years?.

The attackers were illegals?

Pretty scary stuff
Particularly when those doing the attacking were asked about their legal status (a big no-no if they are illegal). That is part of what sparked the attacks.
Most legal immigrants I have met seem to be genuinely interested in becoming “American” and don’t tend to stand around “day labor” hot spots waiting for a job. They actually follow more legitimate channels and have a regular job.
I am a bit late to the “party”, but I humbly disagree with you. The Mexican Government is complicit in actually PROMOTING the illegal entry into the US by their nationals. While it may not be fore the implicit purpose of an “invasion”, it is still endorsed by the government.
Thus is an invasion - that I classify as an act of war.
And that is exactly what has gotten us to the point we are at ---- too many US Citizens staying home on their butts complaining and preaching to others just like them, but actually doing nothing. It is time that Citizens and LEGAL immigrants stand up to these invaders. Put this square on the front burner and make a noise until our own government does something.
But one thought - might it not be more effective to "picket" and "protest" those businesses that hire those illegals as well as the municipalities and other government entities who enable the illegals? You put enough people protesting a business or company for the illegals they employ- you will bring them enough negative publicity, plus possibly make their work much more difficult...
