I'm with you Cindy on that! Reading the comments in foreign news sites are informative and eye-opening. What the media tells us is not necessarily what the citizens of those countries are posting on those websites (much anti-Americanism). It tells us what we can expect to happen in those areas as opposed to what the media tells us is happening.
If the media quit telling us about Britney and OJ, they would have the time to report what is actually going on in the world around us, instead of filling our minds with worthless gossip and inuendo. O'Reilly wastes 1/4 of his show with a trivia quiz. Award winning journalism appears to have gone the way of the dinosaur. We're rethinking our satellite dish. We get triple the news, triple fast on the internet, without news commentator attitude.
