Either of those would be preferable to the reality, I fear.
Many young women in the West can do whatever they want. Especially in places like Northern Europe. They can even veil themselves deliberately and expect to be encouraged by Socialists, Liberals and other admirers of Islamofascism.
If an American or Swedish woman of Christian origin veils herself in a Muslim fashion, she has the right to do so, but true Westerners are under an obligation to condemn and question this behavior.
Giving support to moderate and secularized Muslims is fine with me, but veils are a symbol of true sexism and oppression of females, as opposed to the alleged sexism that Feminists throughout the world accuse decent men like me of.
