Eco warrior whacks old guy for watering the lawn...even though he was complying with water restictions. What an idiot. Wonder if Australia has an ELF chapter?...I guess they do.

The Eco-Weenies think they are on a mission from God to save the planet. This sort of thing is inevitable, particularly as they get more and more disconnected with reality.

They assume that they are on the side of good and decency, and that anybody who opposes them is evil. Is it really such a leap to resort to thuggery to prevent “evil” from continuing? If you really do buy all the Eco-Weenie propaganda crap, putting beat-downs on old men watering their lawns is not only justifiable, it is a moral imperative!

I have a theory as an arm chair psychologist that these radicals are emotionally stunted adults who as children were always given false praise by their parents and teachers and thus have an inflated sense of self. They imagine themselves to be God incarnate. They can do no wrong and anyone who is not in agreement with them is “evil”.

“Media reported the argument was over Sydney’s water restrictions. The victim reportedly sprayed the younger man with the hose. Police said the younger man responded by punching and pushing the older man to the ground and kicking him.

An off-duty police officer intervened and arrested the younger man, the statement said. The older man was taken by ambulance to the hospital but died soon after, police said.”

Bitter people like that never miss an opportunity to abuse perceived weaker individuals. Whether it’s about sprinkling water or whatever, if they can inflate their ego at another's expense then they never opt-out at the chance.

They are predatory, but when the game they think are cornered dare put up a defense edgewise, then that is a crime punishable with the power of the fist.

I bet that killer wastes more water than anyone. There is always a bigger bully down the block, especially in a jail-block. It won’t be long till he gets it back in spades.

One of the things that is really beginning to rub me the wrong way, is where corporations are starting to partner with the green causes.

I was just watching an add last night where ABC (I believe it was) is going to promote “GREEN ISSUES” all next week. They’ve got some clever marketing program all set to go, and it’s labeled something like, “GREEN WEEK, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE” or some variant of this.

What this does is brainwash, or stampeed a lot of people into believing that this planet may be saves with lots of work, but it’s going to be a real close call. That simply isn’t the case. This planet is just fine.

I feel like calling ABC, telling them I’m making a list and that I won’t buy one damned thing from one of their advertisers for the next year.

Nature abhors a vacuum. If you have raised a child to respond to nothing but praise, and with no solid foundation of morality, what will he do when he is an adult, and Mommy is no longer there to put his fingerpainting on the refrigerator? He will fall prey to whatever “holy” cause is fashionable at the moment, and feed his insatiable need for praise self-esteem through outward adherence to the proper behaviors.

I agree, seriously. You deserve a PHD with that thesis. No need for a 300 page book to explain that thought on the subject matter, Dr. Lawgvrl1955.

Do you have to say that? Everyone joins sometime, or maybe you meant it sincerely. If so, I apologize. It is usually meant in a snarky fashion.

No, I really was welcoming him. I almost put in parentheses that I was serious, for the very reason you mentioned, but I was hoping that it wouldn’t be necessary this time.

Wait until they start campaigning about the coming oxygen shortage as carbon sucks it all out of the air to feed its evil daughter, carbon dioxide.

Pranayama
Survival in the 21st century

Prana is universal life energy. It permeates the universe. We receive much of it as cosmic rays which strike the atmosphere and condense as ionized (negative and positive) charged particles.
They are the basis for plant and animal nutrition.
Oxygen contains prana. The conscious practice of controlling prana through regulation of breathing and concentration of mind is called Pranayama. Through this discipline the body can be rejuvenated to optimal beauty, strength and wisdom and is assured of survival under any conditions.
During pranayama, one controls and intensifies the two oppositely charged electrical currents as they flow down the spine. On striking the base they release interatomic energy similar to the release of free electrons in atomic fission. The interatomic energy is called Kundalini. This energy is guided in its ascent through the chakras to the head where it energizes the brain.
Most authorities agree that ions act on our capacity to absorb and utilize oxygen. Negative ions in the bloodstream accelerate the delivery of oxygen to our cells and tissues, frequently giving us the same euphoric jolt that we get from a few whiffs of straight oxygen. Positive ions slow down the delivery of oxygen producing symptoms markedly like anoxia, or oxygen starvation.
Positive ions predominate in polluted city air. Furthermore, air conditioners and many motors strip the air of negative ions which is one of the reasons why in an air conditioned room one has a great desire to open a window. Country air, especially in the mountains, is filled with negatively charged particles generated by cosmic rays and radioactive elements in the soil, grass, waterfalls, lightning and ultraviolet light from the sun.”

From this well-trusted scientific site: (Note the sentence above about polluted city air)

One of the things that is really beginning to rub me the wrong way, is where corporations are starting to partner with the green causes.

I understand that one of the reasons for this corporate behavior is that they are intimidated into the partnership by the eco-fascists. I agree with your proposed action of not buying anything advertised during that period, well done.
