and if this or something like this did come out, it would only make the people feel more sorry for slick willy than they already are, and it would pole fault her to the top of the polls....

Maybe its one of the ideas Eleanor Roosevelt gave Hillary during one of the conversations. Eleanor had a very close woman friend that would accompany her on trips, etc. but wasn’t an aide as I recall. But back then the media was much more “don’t ask, don’t tell”.
