For those who believe that Islam is compatible with democracy, the latest riot in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, sparked by reports of a Koran being 'desecrated' by infidels should dispel the notion that Muslims would put humanitarian values above Islam. The fact that the riots were sparked by uncorraborated reports of 'abuse' of Korans at Guantanamo Bay, not of prisoners, and the rioters were students, (who are the ones who benefit most from democracy), leads one to the conclude what is becoming obvious as the West tries to 'bring the Muslim world out of barbarism, "It's the religion, stupid". As long as deadly outrage can be ignited by a report of disrepect being shown to a religious text, and beheadings and suicide bombings are considered normal expressions of religious devoutness, the myth of Islam being compatible with democracy, are as farcical as the claim that it is "a religion of peace" which is " a mercy to all mankind".

I will start the rant with a tangential issue related to Islam, and then comment on the article. Obamas’ middle name is Hussein, his father was an Islamic terrorist. Obama has evidenced a Christian background. Fine. However, he has stated in the past a liking and sympathy for Hamas and their cause. He can be approached maybe even more easily by Muslims with ill-will for the US than even the Bushes who have set all records. Laura Bush with the Burka clad women on tv in the last few days took the cake for legitimizing Islam. I consider Obama politically compromised and a risk to national security. It is considered pc to discuss such Islamic features to Obamas background in a campaign setting by the media..I hear Hillary Rodham Clinton all the time...I never hear Barak Hussein Obama ever. I consider the genetic relationship of Obama to VP Cheney of no consequence...they are removed cousins. The empathy/sympathy of Obama to Hamas is a big problem for me. The fact that most, if not all known Islamic terrorist organizations favor Hillary and the Dims does not set well either.
Yes, the above article confirms a institutionalized hatred of Jews by Islam. Half of the Jewish population of the world is in Israel, and half is in the United States with smaller communites spread about the world. Mohammad cut his Islamic teeth by killing, enslaving, taxing Jews. It is history as Bostom confirms. Islam is killing Christian communities in Kosovo, Africa (Nigeria this week, Darfur), Southeast Asia, etc...Christians will do when Jews are not available. Anyone else after that. The Chaldean Christian groups in Iraq have all but been wiped out in the last two years. Islam also institutionally considers all lands not under Sharia law as Dar-al-Harb..house of war..yes, war. The US is officially a house (land) of war as it is not yet under Sharia law. Where is the peace? Islam is not a political ideology of peace in regard to any government of human law. The author, Bostom, is a well-known and quite scholarly student and writer on Islam..he is one of the best. For anyone interested a Google search should turn up many of his essays. Any US President with the current worldwide jihad activities of Sunnis and Shiites going on with full force, with the US and Israel as the main Western targets initially, must not be related to Islam or friendly with any terrorist organization in any way in my opinion, in fulfilling the duties of Pres. to the US citizen, and I am critical of the Dim party for legitimizing such a candidate. As he attended an Islamic madrassa in Pakistan as a child, Muslims will always consider him an apostate Muslim for now being a Christian...this could be a serious matter if and when he is President.
While this article focused on Islamic Jew hatred, it is well to remember that Christian individuals to whole societies are all at risk too. In Islam, a person who is descended from a Christian is a Christian whether he attends church or worships or has become atheist..the same sort of rule applies to Jews also. Hitler studied Islam in the late twenties and early thirties before he wrote his book, Mein Kamph, and, he incorporated Islamic views and practices against the Jews in all of Europe as is well known. Two of his six SS Generals were Muslim. In Islam all persons not Jewish or Christian (People of the Book),rank even lower, as with dogs...literally.Rant done.
The Arab grievances, both real and imagined, pale in light of the historical and present day grievances Jews have against Islam. No examination of Palestinian “rights” should be conducted without placing on the same scales of justice the history of Arab persecution of Jews and theft of their lands since Mohammad.
