Interestingly, I'm reminded of my school days when the innocent were punished along with the culprits. If Sister left the room for a few minutes and returned to hear talking among students, the whole class took the brunt.
The rest of society is now looked upon with suspicion when only a minority are guilty.
We've got a big problem here!

If Sister left the room for a few minutes and returned to hear talking among students, the whole class took the brunt. That is one of the worst things that a teacher can do to children, IMO. Nothing made me angrier, when I was a child, than group punishment for individual behavior in which I was not involved.
