A California-based pro-family activist is outraged that a San Diego public school teacher is teaching third graders that homosexuality is acceptable, and that a San Diego news website is glorifying the teacher's indoctrination techniques.
A website called Voice of San Diego recently profiled a third-grade teacher, Mick Rabin, who uses his classroom to promote homosexuality to his young pupils, according to San Diego-based pro-family advocate James Hartline. Hartline says parents need to know what is happening in public school classrooms, and demand control over their tax-funded schools.
Hartline says the teacher has been getting away with this for years, and has now been glorified by another liberal media outlet. Rabin, he says, has a captive audience of innocent children and is using that to his advantage in order to indoctrinate children into accepting homosexuality as being normal.
"This is a situation where you have a schoolteacher who is absolutely trying to indoctrinate little children who don't have the wherewithal to say 'I don't agree with that. I don't think that's right,'" says Hartline. "We're talking about 8-year-olds, and maybe 9-year-olds, and maybe even as young as 7-year-olds, who don't have any ability to absorb this information that this teacher is putting in their minds, and reject it."
He says it is time for parents to take charge and to show teachers and administrators that they own neither the schools nor the children.

He does belong there, but those laws aren’t enforced now.
Tellyawhat, if you tell any of these “parents” just to grab their kids, and haul ass out of that Hell, they will tell you that they “can’t afford” to leave, and move to a place with lower wages. Any “parent” in this situation is about like Lot’s wife. They have sold out their kids, and their future.
I’m surprised an angry father hasn’t burst into the school with a tire iron by now.
Isn’t this exactly what Arnold signed into law recently?
indoctrination = public schools/universities
I believe this is an example of the rule more than the exception. I’m glad people are finally complaining but where have they been all these years? It’s been happening for a long time.
the teacher is trolling for new “friends”. If it was a hetero college professor and a graduate assistant there would be hell to pay!
From the article (Q & A) - the words of Mick Rabin:
There’s so much anxiety about how to talk to kids about sex and sexuality. How do you walk that line so that it’s age-appropriate?
It’s a hard thing. A lot of teachers want to be supportive, but are not sure legally what they’re allowed to say. And to this day, I’m not really sure what I’m allowed to say. But I’m going to say it anyways. I’m a tenured teacher. What are they going to do?

C’mon, it’s not like these homos can procreate, therefore they must recruit.

Yes, this is what voting for the “electable Republican” gets you.
I supported McClintock in 03 even though I wasn’t from CA and didn’t have a vote.
Public education went off a cliff many, many decades ago. It’s just now crashing on the rocks below.
And now we’re stuck cleaning up the wreckage.
Sorry, but the way I understand the new law Auhnold just signed you go to jail for NOT teaching this. The only thing George Orwell got wrong was the date. Rename it 2024 and it's even scarier and more immediate than it was when it was written.
