For those not familiar with the publican, it's far right, however the left didn't play it much differently.

The only way to be offended is if you are a living stereotype, and your religion is the only thing that defines you as a person.

Because then Ann is suggesting that you change yourself, not just your faith.

Coulter continued her anti-Semitic conversation with an invitation to Donny Deutsch, the host of the CNBC show, “The Big Idea,” to “come to church with me.”

Ann politely invites a Jew to church on a scantily viewed cable program, even after the Jew presses her with his rude questioning, and it's given equal weight with both a physical assualt against a rabbi and swastikas found at Columbia weeks after Ahmadinejad's visit, all in the same article.

Fear and insecurity sucks. It's making your side look silly.

The first six paragraphs of the article describe the anti-Semitism practiced by some people. I still do not know who these perpetrators are - are they black, brown or chartruse and what was their religious affiliation? The report requires more detail or would that be considered too provocative?

She got what she wanted. The woman is an attention hog. If she hasn’t been paid attention to in a while she’ll start some silly “controversy.” I have no idea if she’s a real conservative or just someone out after the almighty dollar. Regardless she does do as much damage as help to conservatism.

Lemmie get this straight..........
Ann Coulter is the one beating up Jooos who are thus afraid to go from store to car without armed escorts? Ann is out there urging ‘disinvestment’ in Israeli stocks and businesses? Beating up on Rabbis??
Jooos have to worry about attacks from CHRISTIANS??
REALLY? YA THINK?

I suppose that Muzzies, Dhimmi Leftoids and their Haemmorid allies with $oro$ and $audi $$$ have nothing to do with anything; and that all the anti-Israli/anti-US crap isn’t bought and paid for with oil $$$$$?
Yeah, right.

Ann (the only effective attack dog on the right) is to blame. Sure. She’s an eeeeevil Christian, after all.

Ann done jumped the shark.

I’m sorry folks, I like her too, but this was just plain boneheaded dumb.

Try to spin it any way you like, and it still comes out looking dumb.

Ann? Go to sleep. On the couch.

You = whomever it applies to.

If you are offended by Ann Coulter’s dream that everyone in America be Christian...look back in history to the Christian missionaries who brought Christianity to the American Indians, the Hawaiians, and innumerable others. Do those missionaries offend you because they wanted to convert people who already had another religion? Would you say they were as bad as slave traders, except their trade was ideas and their captures were the hearts of their converts?

If you give them a pass, what makes you different from those Indians and Polynesians? Why is it offensive to wish to share the Good News with you, but not with them? Is it because they were regarded as “little brown brothers” in their day? Or because their faith was not as good as yours?

Ann’s dream is in complete accord with the expressed wishes of the Savior. That shouldn’t offend you, unless He does too.

Is this nonsense in response to Ann in the “gentiles are all closet nazis unless under our perfected moral tutelege trains them to be different?” Please tell me it is not.

I don't get it...are they comparing Ann Coulter's remarks to a savage physical and ultimately life-threatening assault?

I've been on a few of these threads that are asking us to distance ourselves from Ann Coulter and so far I haven't heard a single logical argument from any one of them. It's all silly!

The logic here is with Ann. Of course she's a Christian herself and being so thinks everyone else should be as well. What good is a Christian if he or she thinks they have it right but is afraid of offending people when they say so. Remember...a its a liberal who is supposed to be so open minded they won't take their own side in a quarrel.

Ann has made a living by being offensive.

She’s had so much success in the past, that she got a little too cocky.

IMO, she went too far this time.

There may be Christians who have been speaking about the conversion of Jews to Christianity “behind [their] back,” but Bible-believing Christians have not been speaking about this secretively for 2,000 years.

Romans 10:1-4 (The Apostle Paul)

(1) Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
(2) For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
(3) For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
(4) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Mt 5:17; Ga 3:24

Romans 11:13-15 (The Apostle Paul, A Jewish Pharisee who met His Messiah, Jesus Christ)

(13) For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my office:
(14) If by any means I may PROVOKE TO EMULATION THEM THAT ARE MY FLESH (Jews), AND MIGHT SAVE SOME OF THEM.
(15) For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them (Jews) be but life from the dead?

As you said, Ann has the right of the Christian theology. But here’s the thing. Jesus commanded His followers to preach to the nations, and teach them. He never said to “convert” them. In fact, that is beyond the ability of mortal man, but is the work of the Holy Spirit.

He never said to use force to cause others to accept His Gospel. Christians, indeed, have done so throughout the centuries. But they have done so in DIRECT CONTRADCITION to their own Scripture. Nowhere in the NT is there any call to use force to advance the faith.

This is 180 degrees from what the Islamic does when he takes some helpless hostage and demands they convert or be beheaded. He is acting in DIRECT COMPLIANCE and OBEDIENCE to his own scripture.

Christians have the right to state their beliefs, and to proselytize. Jews, and everybody else, have the right to reject and dismiss their teachings. What nobody has the right to do is try and shut the other up, or to use force to advance their views.

Everybody is entitled to go to Hell in their own way.

So what is anti-Semitic in inviting a Jew, a fellow believer, to Church?

What most of the Christians, even the good ones on this thread, may not realize, is that either Ann Coulter's statements OR their interpretation in media sources can and do lead to uneducated people (90% of Americans) developing a natural animosity toward what they find strange or different.

Antisemitism in Hitler's day started with talking in pubs and drinking halls, and led to public published opinion and cartoons. I do not need to say where it went from there.

Anti-Semitic activity in the U.S. is on the rise..

True enough -- a most disturbing trend.

But Ann Coulter's comments don't qualify.
