One more point I failed to bring up was the incidence of over usuage by the general public both in Canada and the Uk of the system. 6% of the users in Newfoundland use 24% of the services. I have been in "murgency" and observed the absolute chatter and chuckling of emergency seekers.

Few in the US have any idea how socialized health care will bring out the hypochondriacs.

As the perceived cost approaches zero, demand will approach infinity. The only "solution" is rationing of the product.

I had better make a amendment for myself.

One day too late, I ran into a man at the public library. He is on disability. He tells me he has been put into the system as a care giver. Remarkable, for what he does is to change sheets and diapers of patients. Some with Alzheimers. Thus he also cares for his parents likewise in their 80's.

He tells me there is a program to use people on welfare and disability. It is called ONTARIO WORKS. I tread lightly though and did not ask it it was compulsory.

I felt pretty humble in knowing that such tasks would "kill" me. Still, this does not apply to the United Kingdom. Just like to update on the fact that something is being done in Ontario.
