I hope the delay in approving the power plants Sunflower Electric has proposed isn't because the Kansas Department of Health and Environment believes the lie that carbon dioxide has some magical power to control atmospheric temperatures.
How can anyone believe that CO2, which is only 0.04 percent of the atmosphere, can have any impact on air temperatures? I have yet to see any scientific evidence to support the claims about the magical ability of CO2 claimed by greenhouse gas believers. If these believers had any real scientific evidence they wouldn't be claiming that their estimates of past temperatures provide evidence.
Dr. Gerhard Gerlich and Ralf D. Tscheuschner of the Institute for
Mathematical Physics at the Carolo Wilhelmina Technical University in Germany, has published an essay ("Falsification of the Atmospheric
Greenhouse Effects Within the Framework of Physics") disproving the claims about these magical greenhouse gases. In the essay he explains that greenhouses don't function by stopping infrared radiation from leaving, but by preventing heated air from leaving.
He also discusses how the claims about greenhouse gases violate the Second Law of Thermodynamics in physics, particularly the claim that the air can become hotter than the ground it receives heat from and then heats the ground.
The claim that CO2 becomes hotter by absorbing infrared radiation is inconsistent with the research for which Niels Bohr won a Nobel Prize. Bohr's research indicated that absorption of specific wavelengths of light by an atom/molecule changed the energy state of the atom's electrons rather than causing an increase in motion (or heat). Moreover, before an atom could absorb additional radiation of that wavelength it had to first emit radiation of that wavelength.
Those who talk about greenhouse gases seem to be ignorant of how the atmosphere is heated. The sun heats the ground or water which then conducts heat to the air just above the ground. As this air becomes warmer it rises drawing in cooler air which is also heated.
The same way people believe voting for the democrats will get them more gubburmnt benefits.
They are S-T-U-P-I-D.
What does Al’s theories of global warming have to do with peace?
The Nobel Peace Prize is a joke.

FYI
Your right...within a few months to a year there will be so many huge holes blown in Gore’s global warming theroy that he and the Nobel organization will look like the communist, subversive, pinko, faggots that they are. A purely political award..given only to people bent on destroying civilization.
Gore didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize for advancing a scientific theory about global warming or cooling or changing or whatever,
Gore got the prize for the same reason jimmuh carter did, for advancing socialism and one world government
the "peace" in the the Nobel Peace Prize is the "peace" of MIR, the old Soviet concept of world peace, which is achieved when the entire world has embraced Marxist goverance.
their definition of "peace" is very similar to the Muslim idea of "peace" - Islam - which of course means submission to the Allah -- as interpreted by the Mullahs.
That's an interesting sentence. I've not heard it put that way before.
Everyone needs to be reminded about BIG OIL Al and how little he cares about the ‘environment’ when it lines his pockets.

The Inconvenient Truth Al Gore Hopes You Forget!
So, I wake up this morning to hear Al Gore has won an Oscar for trying to save the world!
Then I went out and shoveled 18 of his global warming out of my driveway.
First question: Why didn’t he do anything to try to save the environment during his 8 years as Vice President and how many years as a senator?
Some say the Vice President has no power, cant make policy, blah, blah.
Next question: Then why was he able to pull off selling one of our few oil reserves at Elk Hills in California to his big oil buddies at the expense of the environment and fuel reserves. This story was widely reported, but that was 10 years ago. How soon we forget.

[snip]Occidental’s planned drilling of the Elk Hills doesn’t only threaten the memory of the Kitanemuk [Indian tribe}. Environmentalists say a rare species of fox, lizard and the kangaroo rat would also be threatened by Oxy’s plans. A lawsuit has been filed under the Endangered Species Act. But none of that has given pause to Occidental or the politician who helped engineer the sale of the drilling rights to the federally-owned Elk Hills. That politician is Al Gore.
Gore recommended that the Elk Hills be sold as part of his 1995 “Reinventing Government” National Performance Review program. Gore-confidant (and former campaign manager) Tony Cohelo served on the board of directors of the private company hired to assess the sale’s environmental consequences. The sale was a windfall for Oxy. Within weeks of the announced purchase Occidental stock rose ten percent.
That was good news for Gore. Despite controversy over Dick Cheney’s plans to keep stock options if elected, most Americans don’t know that we already have a vice president with oil company stocks. Before the Elk Hills sale, Al Gore controlled between $250,000-$500,000 of Occidental stock (he is executor of a trust that he says goes only to his mother, but will revert to him upon her death). After the sale, Gore began disclosing between $500,000 and $1 million of his significantly more valuable stock.
Nowhere is Al Gore’s environmental hypocrisy more glaring than when it comes to his relationship with Occidental. While on the one hand talking tough about his “big oil” opponents and waxing poetic about indigenous peoples in his 1992 book “Earth in the Balance,” the Elk Hills sale and other deals show that money has always been more important to Al Gore than ideals.
.
Al should have won the Nobel No Shame prize.
I pinged all the gwhore I could stand today...
Indeed.
The Nobel Peace Prize isn’t for the Theory of Global Warming but for the tireless champion of the Cause even if the Cause is a total figment. At least it is distracting the socialists from working on something meaningful.
Figured as much, LOL!
