>>>If SITE’s techniques are so good where’s Bin Laden?<<

Standard Democrat talking point...you'll have to do better than that Toby!

Since your evidently not into reading, you might go to SITE.com (maybe org?) and see the extent of their activity....and that's only what's for public consumption.

SITE did nothing except be one of the first to intercept the inevitable tape. There are other private intelligence agencies that are also not impressed by SITE’s methods. The point of the “where’s Bin Laden” is that if this company is so entrenched with technology outside what the NSA and CIA has then they should have had no problem finding Bin Laden by now. Anyone can ping.

One of Bush’s biggest mistakes was not cleaning house of all the Clinton appointees.

I went to the site SITE and what I found is an Iraqi blabbermouth that does enough talking to the media herself without the help of the administration. I wonder if she votes Democrat or Republican?

A few firing squads would stop the leaking ... retiring the democrats from Washington would do it, too.

This administration doesn't take internal enemies or security breaches seriously at all. They have far too much of a "go along to get along" attitude. It appears to me that about 50% of the CIA, NSA and FBI are still Clinton loyalists, happy to subvert our country's interests at the drop of a hat.

There's no such thing as treason any more.

From the Captians Quarters:

UPDATE: The WaPo story says that Katz sent this to the White House on 9/7, but the ABC transcript is dated 9/6. Maybe that’s why ABC credited “intelligence sources” rather than “senior White House officials” in its report. Apparently, the US already had the tape before SITE offered it to the White House. First thank you for all the work you do. IMO they leaked it themselves to bring attention to their ‘operation’ and to discredit the administration. ANYTHING in the media now I am suspect over. It’s nothing but agenda driven lies A to Z.

Will they ever plug up any of those leaks?

It gave two senior officials access on the condition that the officials not reveal they had it until the al-Qaeda release.

If they'd even make an attempt, I'd feel hopeful. It's NOT like they have a huge list of suspects; it's gotta be one of the two "senior officials."

One of the two is a damnable fool, and leaked it to someone else, and the chain reaction began.

There are moments when I really believe that the best this country could do for its own future is bring back public hangings. Nothing sobers up the chattering class like the sight of a traitor standing under a tree with his boots off the ground.

The operatives aligned against Bush within the CIA would be a more accurate guess, IMO.

Bingo. It makes me wonder who is one whose side.

Money is an important factor, no doubt about it. These institutions are not for free, they charge a lot of money for doing translations of mostly public stuff on public terrorist forums and websites.

I simply have hard time believing this penetration of the Al Qaeda "internal communication system" that is run by a handful of people if it does exist in the first place. Today in the news they were talking about this system and that it has names of Al Qaeda terrorists, their locations, salaries, etc... and on the top of that they claim that in this system Al Qaeda shows plans of their incoming terrorist attacks. Please give me a break. If we have access to such a system we would have rounded up tens of thousands of Al Qaeda terrorist around the world in matters of days. If it really exists and these Al Qaeda terrorists are still free then we have a really screwed up system that is working against victory.

It took 2 years for US and Europeans intelligence agencies to catch a terrorist internet wiz kid who went by the name of Irabi007 (real name is Younis Al Tsouli) and they did not catch him from his IP address or penetrated his computer but rather they caught 2 terrorists in Bosnia who happened to have his contact information on their computers and cell phones.

If a 22 years old terrorist kid was so hard to catch are these people seriously telling us that they have access to Al Qaeda INTRANET", is there such a thing as Al Qaeda intranet? Something is very hard to believe here.

"Exactly ! So much for reaching out to the losing party in the name of bipartisanship. God Help us !!!!"

Roger that!

The ONLY reaching out the Democrats do - is to grab a Republican's throat or a taxpayer's wallet...

But the dumb ass Republicans we put into office haven't yet figured that out....

They pulled the plug on ABLE DANGER apparantly because some folks within the current administraton may have been compromised as to whom they may have had contacts in recent times with. At least that is about as far as we got over the hundreds of supposing this or that at this forum.

Hey jveritas!

I am way behind on this story, and reading the thread has not helped, I’m confused, lol!

When you get time can you give me a rundown of the controversy?

Thanks so much!

That’s intriguing.

What is BIS, and who are the “same people” you speak about?

I remember that Prague leak very, very, well, as a matter of fact, CNN had it as “Breaking News” in the middle of a Powell interview, who confirmed it. They also interviewed a Prague official that confirmed, IIRC?

And in the next few weeks, CNN claimed that their “intell” sources had now denied it, and of course, that began the campaign to claim Saddam and Sons were guilty of NOTHING, zero, zilch, nada, lol, ever!

This is a major security breach..an act of total stupidity and should be ppunishable by 20 years in prison or more for treason...The fact that it reached the high level it did puts it in the realm of TOP SECRET...OBVIOUSLY that means, do not spread to any other person or agency without highest level of approval...Our government is under attack and is being sabotoged every day by people who want to see this country collapse—thanks to the idiots-both Rep and Dem who appointed them or let them stay in power..We are screwed unless we clean the vermin out.
