“the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), commonly referred to as the Quakers”

That is very misleading.

The AFSC people are an extremist group that claim to Quakers, but they are a fringe group.
Most Quakers have nothing to do with these types..

Thank you for your post. I’ve moved to Wisconsin and have been away from the area for a while. None of this article made sense to me.
