Good catch for that caller. He, like the rest of his organization, should be treated like any other enemy combatant, or propagandist.
Either Gitmo, or the needle.

Some people will never learn. There are none so blind as those that will not see.

STATEMENT OF GOVERNOR KAINE
~ On Dr. Esam Omeishs resignation from the Virginia Commission on Immigration ~
RICHMOND Governor Timothy M. Kaine released the following statement on Dr. Esam Omeishs resignation today from the Virginia Commission on Immigration:
I have accepted Dr. Esam Omeishs resignation as one of the 10 gubernatorial appointees to the 20-member Virginia Commission on Immigration.
Dr. Omeish is a respected physician and community leader, yet I have been made aware of certain statements he has made which concern me.
Dr. Omeish indicated that he did not want this controversy to distract from the important work of the Commission.
I intend to name another representative of the Muslim community to the Commission in the near future.

It only took a few weeks for me to realize Kaine would be bad for the Commonwealth. The longer hes been in office the worse he gets.

I have zero doubts that the caller was either [or a combination] a FReeper, a reader of LGF or a member of the Governor’s staff [intentionally setting up the dismissal].

There’s gonna come a day when Americans are gonna push back, and may God have mercy on those that are trying to steal what few freedoms we have left.

It's the law itself (see: http://www.schev.edu/policy/leg_display.asp?bill=HB1673 ) that's directing the Governor to appoint a Moslem. It says, in fact that among the representatives to be appointed by the Governor there must be "a representative of a religious organization with a program for immigrants"
The First Amendment prohibits the Congress (and by extension through the 14th Amendment, the Virginia Legislature) from passing a law respecting an establishmnt of religion.
Here, in fact, the law is demanding that the represenative be from a "religious organization" and also one with a "program for immigrants", that is, a religion with a specific establishment, that is a "program".
I think this law is manifestly UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
Where's the ACLU, and why isn't this puke of a Governor appointing a Sa'ami Noaide to this position?
