FBI chief orders internal probe

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III ordered an internal investigation into whether bureau agents interfered with midterm congressional elections by disclosing a corruption probe that undermined the re-election bid of Republican Rep. Curt Weldon weeks before the Nov. 7 vote.

The internal probe was disclosed in a Senate Judiciary Committee report containing the FBI's written answers to questions posed by committee members.

Sen. Charles E. Grassley, Iowa Republican, asked why FBI agents searched the office of Mr. Weldon's daughter and a business associate three weeks before the elections.

The publicity from the raid contributed to the Pennsylvania Republican's defeat and led to the election of retired Navy Vice Adm. Joe Sestak, a former Clinton administration national security official.

Weldon's a Republican, so I won't expect much out of this.

The not-so-secret police. The Left has seen them in action working for the Democrat powers that be but they don't speak out.

This only bothered them for like a minute...

But somehow they see Bush as Hitler.

".....internal investigation into whether bureau agents interfered..."

Uhhhh, yeah. Nothing at all came to the investigation on Wm. Jefferson, D. LA but Weldon, well FBI must check on something and leak to media.

A day late and a dollar short. Of course the FBI nailed Weldon, because he was embarrassing them and revealing them—or some of them—to be traitors and liars.

Will anything come of this? Of course not. If the media managed to sweep it under the rug when Weldon was speaking out every day, they certainly won’t have any trouble sweeping it under the rug now, with Weldon gone and congress controlled by Democrats.

After careful observation over the course of the past three decades, I’ve concluded the FBI couldn’t find its own ass with both hands in their back pants pockets.

These are the clowns that couldn’t find the Unibomber for decades, drove Richard Jewell to an early death by falsing accusing him, still haven’t produced who mailed anthrax to various celebs and pols, changed the ROE for the one and only time in its history at Ruby Ridge, and then promoted everybody involved in that fiasco.

Based on that, nothing will come of this.

It’s about damn time. There was a bigtime leak from the FBI about the Weldon investigation, befire Weldon himself even knew he was being investigated. That’s why they rushed to do the search of his home, they were worried about him destroying evidence once he found out about the investigation FROM THE MEDIA. They had planned to keep it quiet and cooperative, but the leak forced here hand. Another leak made sure the cameras were rolling when the FBI arrived at Weldon’s house for the search.

Doesn't matter what branch of the Federal govt.; it's full of leftist bureaucrats who place hatred for 'Pubs above national security. FBI, CIA, even the DoD...so many entrenched Socialist hacks that must be weeded out. Rip out large chunks of the Federal govt., root and branch, and defund the engine that produces these SOBs. And enact term limits for all politicians at all levels of govt.

About %%$%% time. There has been no information on the status of this ‘investigation’ since last year’s October surprise that cost him the election. Meanwhile, Sestak is busy returning Hsu contributions. Weldon was my Congressman. It’s too late now to bring him back but shining a very very bright light in the cockroaches corner may help change the tidae by next election.

Sestak is a Clinton plant. Weldon was targeted. I do not underestimate the power of the Clintons to remove those obstructung their path back to power.

Footnote: Is anyone surprised that the Clinton’s would target this man and his family?

“Mr. Weldon had played a key role in several high-profile investigations of the Clinton administration, including its role in a 1996 illegal transfer of missile technology to China, the 1990s loss of nuclear secrets to China, and the investigation of Clinton National Security Adviser Samuel R. Berger, who in April 2005 pleaded guilty to illegally removing classified documents from the National Archives related to counterterrorism efforts.”

FBI, CIA, even the DoD...so many entrenched Socialist hacks that must be weeded out.

Most of them will be protected by government unions or laws insulating government employees.

The only solution is a charismatic leader who can convince them that patriotism is better than money and power.

Repeal all laws permitting public employee unions — a ridiculous, and ruinous, concept from the start.

The MSM working hand-in-glove with liberals in the FBI managed with gross ethical malfeasance to boot a great Congressman who was one of the few in DC fully focused upon winning the War on Terror and cleaning up problems in the intel and security agencies.

In his place they installed a leftist pal of SANDY BURGLAR, the criminal liar and traitor who destroyed top-secret documents to cover up Clintonista malfeasance.

If that isn’t a scandal for the ages then what is? When will this whole scam be fully investigated???

How about an internal investigation concerning Ruby Ridge?
Or maybe about Waco, or the long Island jet shoot down.

Or how about the truth of Oklahoma and the Murrah building?
Or how about the f.b.i. allowing that innocent guy to go to jail for a decade or so to keep an informant to stay free knowing he did the crime.
I can go on here but I don’t trust the f.b.i. and don’t believe ANYTHING they say.
