National Review had a great piece about Ron Paul, and his curious history. You should check it out, its not a ‘major’ column, but revealing none the less.

One of my favorites was Michael Leedeen's response to Paul's neoconned speech.

Leeden called him a weasly ignoramus and fool, he must be an evil neocon!

Wow.

I”m not seeing the article I’ve referenced here on NR’s website. Thats not all that unusual, but I will note the writer and specific title tomorrow when I get back into the forum.

The Run Paul experts on conservatism here today would call Ronald Reagan a neo-con. Of course, he’d have smiled and said something amiable in return to their nasty remarks and ugly outlooks.
