National Review had a great piece about Ron Paul, and his curious history. You should check it out, its not a ‘major’ column, but revealing none the less. One of my favorites was Michael Leedeen's response to Paul's neoconned speech.

The Run Paul experts on conservatism here today would call Ronald Reagan a neo-con. Of course, he’d have smiled and said something amiable in return to their nasty remarks and ugly outlooks.
