It is not possible to protect all schools against a determined attack. Protecting a few will just divert the attack elsewhere.
I don’t understand why so many people don’t understand that we quite literally cannot defend ourselves against attacks of this type. We can kill the terrs first, or we may be able to prevent them entering the country, but we cannot “defend” many thousands of schools against an attack.
That was exactly my point. The only way to stop an attack would be armed battalions in front of every school.
I spend most of my days at various elementary schools. I've thought about it. There is no practical solution.
Spread the rumor that thousands of Christians are planning on holding prayer meetings and handing out Bibles in each middle school in the country and I'll wager no school will go unprotected...
“but we cannot defend many thousands of schools against an attack....”
I say this is BS. God granted us 2nd ammendment rights to protect ourselves and one another from trash like this. Those Americans taking the responsibility to assert those rights will fare far better on the day this happens, then those who say they’ve done their duty to their families, themselves and their community by simply dialing 911.
We can protect ourselves by, closing our borders, disallow any muslims from entering our country under any reason, start Ethnic profiling (99.9% of all terrorist are middle eastern in appearance and between the ages of 18 and 45), allow wire taps on calls to and from muslim countries, monitor all mosques, and stop all the possible law suits by the ACLU by taking Ethnic profiling cases out of the jurisdiction of the courts.
That may sound selfish but too bad.
