Right Now - A replay of 9/11
Achors and shots of what unfolded on that day!
Tune into your MSNBC!
I’ve been watching. Turned it on at almost the exact moment I did 6 yrs ago - right after the 1st plane hit.
Already saw it on Fox.
FOX replayed it also.
I’m missing it :(
Cubicle bound. Is there a link anywhere? Fox, cnn?
Probably the first time I’ve watched Katie in years.
I think they did it last year also. I am surprised they would air the coverage as it happened again. It is difficult to watch. I noticed last year that CNN’s people were babbling on and on while Jon Scott on Fox nailed it within the first minute after the second tower was hit. He said it was probably islamic terrorists and he named bin laden specifically.
Does anyone remember the times that the Towers fell.
Also, could someone post the primary FR breaking news post.
I once had it bookmarked, but lost it a few years ago.
Thanks
God Bless America
The networks are ignoring the event at 9:36 a.m. I am glad that MSNBC is replaying history. Some may have heard none of it, only that Bush is bad for several years.

Included in this “BREAKING NEWS” segment are the original bulletins from WCBS- What follows is a succession of “BREAKING NEWS” bulletins, as they happened live, beginning with WNYW-TV in New York. WNYW (Channel 5) was the first TV station in the world to interrupt their regular programming with the breaking news at 8:48 that morning, just two minutes after the impact. CNN’s “breaking news” bulletin follows at 8:49, and so on. Included in this “BREAKING NEWS” segment...
10:05 a.m.: The south tower of the World Trade Center collapses, plummeting into the streets below. A massive cloud of dust and debris forms and slowly drifts away from the building.

This is a replay on MSNBC.
Fox only had it on for a few minutes.
Am still watching it!
Every high school in America should be showing this today to students who were too young at the time to really grasp what was happening. In fact, it should be an annual event in order to “teach a little history”. (Yeah, I know I’m expecting a lot from an education system that has forgotten, or purposely ignored, American history.)
Me, too!
People need to remember why we are where we are today!
MSNBC? The network that relies on Olbermann and Matthews for its ratings? No thanks.
My high school aged daughter speculated this morning that it would not be mentioned at school today!
the fog of war on display.
I don’t usually watch MSNBC either - but - I figured some here on Free Republic might want to see what was said on that day. Katic Couric was one of the anchors that day - not Chrissy or Olbermann!
We need to remember that day - Other networks have the memorials, etc.
But - people have a tendancy to forget and say it was not that bad. Look at all the dimms! They say Bush did it! Talk about crazy loons!
