Unknown, but definitely not the first. bornacatholic was a regular poster and contributor to FR's Religion Forum for years. He took a sabbatical from FR for Lent (not unheard of for the Catholics there), then came back to make a single, odd "please forgive my behavior - goodbye" post, then was silent until today. The views he posted on this thread were IMO totally out-of-character for him, at least pre-Lent.

Pinging a few of his FReeper friends to this thread - hopefully they know more about what's going on.
