yesterday i was driving northbound on i-87, just north of albany, ny. on the side of the road were two bed sheets with "google ron paul" spray-painted on them. these guerilla tactics are not the norm up here.
but i couldn't decide if they were for or against ron paul. surely, once you do a little research on him you discover what a loon he is.

You’ll only encourage them.
And making us all READ the threads to respond, well that might be considered torture.

People who don’t recognize the threat of islamic fascism IMO shouldn’t be taken seriously. I certainly wouldn’t vote for any candidate which thinks it can be handled as criminal or with a change of policies. We are at war with evil forces which have attacked us for decades, Only a blind agenda driven fool fails to see it.

I’m afraid this crackpot may become to Republicans what Ralph Nader was to Al Gore.

Personally, I think Ron Paul is loathsome. But I also think you're engaging in something akin to "feel good" activity. By declaring "war" on Ron Paul, you'll feel that at least you're doing something, even if it is useless or counterproductive (not unlike gun-control laws.)
Paul is running for office. Do you want to reduce his chances of success? Then ignore him.

A bit like bringing a Bazooka to a water pistol fight. I think you overestimate the “enemy”.

Gee.....I thought the official anti-Paul line was that Paul was a loser, Quixotic, and a one percenter. If true, why are you bothering to “declare war” on him?

BTW, why did not put up a picture of the great evil statist, FDR? Are you an FDR fan?
To: april15Bendovr
As much as I don’t like Guiliani and his supporters, Paul’s supporters are far more deserving of a massive purge. His entire purpose in this process is to inject leftist talking points on the war (also known as outright lies) into the Republican debates. Anyone supporting him is either a troll or too dense to realize they’re being used as such.
The main reason they’re so relentless is because they don’t think Jim has another mass nuking in him after the Rudybot thing, IMO.

So your war on Ron Paul strategy is to post a picture of an elephant? Wow, that's pretty cool.
What would be even cooler is if you just worked to elect the candidate you think would be better.
But don't let me throw a wrench in your super duper effective plan or anything.

The Ron Paul flame wars of 2008 are going to be more annoying and less pertinent that the Buchanan Brigade flames of 2000.Ron Paul will never, ever, ever, ever, ever be President of the United States. Not ever.
