Senator Chuck Schumer's office received a fax a short time ago on behalf of our troops. May his words come back to haunt him.
“This is a policy of last resort! This is a policy of desperation!” Working hard on his attempt to rewrite recent history, Schumer continued his diatribe with: “And let me be clear: the violence in Anbar has gone down despite the surge, not because of the surge!” Then, in a decidedly mean-spirited, patently lying attack against our own soldiers, Schumer continued his invective with: “The lack of protection for these tribes from al Qaeda made it clear to these tribes, ‘We have to fight al-Qaeda ourselves’. It wasn’t that the surge brought peace here. It was that the warlords had to create a temporary peace here on their own. And that is because there was no one else there [US soldiers] protecting them!”

And, thanks to you for that time you wrote and passed out a tune to be sung to “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean” back during the 2000 post-election protest/rallies at the LA Federal Building. I think I met one of FR’s finest that day — a distant one now in many ways.

Thanks Doug. America will not tolerate much more of the lying traitors in the democrat party. Schumer, Murtha, Pelosi, Feinstien, Reid, Obama, Kennedy, Kerry, and both Clintons, have shown that they hate this country and our men and women in uniform. The majority of this country have seen what these communists represent and they will finally stand up and reject them in 08. Their only hope is the dopes in the unions and far left wing will continue to listen to the MSM who are an arm of the democrat party. God Bless our troops and God Bless America.
