Of course she had a backup copy, right?
“..What really has Willey reeling is that she discovered one of her two book manuscripts missing from the desk in her first-floor study...”
Yes, one would assume that she would have a backup copy. As much as I distrust the Clintons, this may be BS, but thought it would be interesting to see how it plays out.
....
This is Powhatan, don’t forget the internet does not go through her neck of the woods. It’s gone.
I should think so. Geesh! In this day and age, it is a no-brainer to make copies, several. And, stash them in various places. It only takes a moment to download to a flash, and they are cheap.
Sounds like it was typed on a typewriter...not a word processor. How foolish. How convenient.
The article doesn’t really say there were no other copies. However, if I had info on the Clintons, I would cease to sleep with my windows open. I would have a panic room!
She can always rewrite her book. The memories of Bubba have never left her.
By the way, Hello.
she was reading a proof copy anyway, which would mean that the publisher already has a copy ready to typeset, pending corrections. (The book is supposed to be released Nov 20th.)
