And I'm sure that Klansmen who voted went overwhelmingly for Bush. Does that say anything negative about Bush?
What point are you trying to make here?
I’m sure Robert Byrd didn’t vote for Bush
I'm not sure of that at all, considering that Stormfront and other Klan-friendly sites are blistering with BDS.
Does that say anything negative about Bush?
If President Bush welcomed them as friends, boasted of their support and praised their opinions, it would.
Norman Finkelstein follows that path.
Then you belong with the moonbats. Sen. Byrd's buddies overwhelmingly protest with the liberals against the war. They think Pres. Bush is controlled by the Jews.
Robert Byrd voted for President Bush?

I’m not. The Klan was the core of the Democratic Party in the deep south. If the Democratic Party became so horrible for the Klan, I’m sure they’d quit voting or vote for some crackpot 3rd party before voting for the party of Lincoln. And there’s a big difference between chosing someone as the lesser of two evils (which is what any such Bush-voting Klansman must consider Bush), and embracing someone as your standard-bearer and hero.
