Does Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, endorse efforts to form a world government? Video footage recently has surfaced that could force her to either affirm or distance herself from sentiments she expressed in 1999 during a ceremony in which former CBS News anchorman Walter Cronkite accepted the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award from the World Federalist Association. In his acceptance speech, Cronkite embraced the idea that the U.S. would be subsumed into a regional or world government. His views were seconded by Clinton in a closed-circuit television link-up. (Story continues below) Cronkite said, "Today we must develop federal structures on a global level.

Democrats want America to be under one world government so their corrupt, parasite, third world elite friends could suck America dry.

Hillary sounds strange to me. Not just the way she screeches and tone of voice, etc. but some of the things she says. She gave a speech the other day, where she was talking about how some Indian tribe greet each other, rather than saying “how are you”, they say “how are the children”. And this was supposed to impress us how much Hillary cares about children, the children are our future, etc. She is a very uninspiring speaker to me. I know the true believers are with her already, but I think it will be hard for her to win over moderate and undecided voters she will need.

I agree........it’s all about power and the idea of going back to Kings and Queens but on a global basis. The NAU is just the beginning. If we allow this to happen here in our country, we will have to give up our Constitution.

Cronkite is still alive. Though he’s been off the air for many years. I think he’s 90 or 91.

Using children as the excuse is part of the leftist strategy for change. So no, I don’t think she cares about children, she just wants us to think she does so we buy into her crap.

I think Hillary would be most happy with one world government as long as she was in charge. As she said while first lady “I just want to run something”.

Meglomaniac.

I know the true believers are with her already, but I think it will be hard for her to win over moderate and undecided voters she will need.

If this vile beast of a human being repeats election history by sneaking in with an approximate 40% of the vote via a spoiler ala Ron Paul, there is absolutely no way she would survive 8 years, much less 4 years in office.

Her "ideas" are so counter-American in every way, I cannot see her staying in office for very long.

Her grating voice barely contains a suppressed, hidden anger of anything & anyone she cannot control. This...ahem..."woman" would definitely go down in history: as the First Woman President and wife of an impeached former President.

Dear God, this woman is hideous.

Walter Cronkite hurt America. My parents and older sibling were Cronkited along with a vast number of unsuspecting Americans including, sadly, veterans. And that’s the way it is.
