The only problem is, liberals look at Massachusetts and California as success stories. They want to make the rest of the country just like them. Rather than being a cautionary example, these places are seen as prototypes for utopia by a lot of people in positions of power and influence.

As another Freeper noted, Orwell’s 1984 was a cautionary tale, but liberals see it as a blueprint.

Right! They believe everything is fine in MA. All of their wachky programs have merely been administered poorly.

You make a criticism of anything there, and you get THAT answer.

I have always countered with this one: “Please tell me where, anywhere in this world, a society taxed its way to prosperity?” Silence.
