Without violating your NDA can you comment on wether this is something they just think will work or is something they have produced in a lab and they are working on mass manufacturing process?
There is another company with a theory about manufacturing rechargable aluminium batteries but have never made a prototype.
A working prototype would be very encouraging.

Honestly, both the NDA and my lack of qualified EE knowledge make me a bad reference for information on the manufacturing process. I think I can say this without too much difficulty - the company is working with something ‘real’ and ‘explainable’ - not something we still don’t know a lot about (like cold fusion calorimetric anomalies). I will say this, the application I was working with a team on is something I am no longer working on - voluntarily. I was working on something, however, that, if discussed might sound a little silly to a lot of people, and I saw that, from a marketing perspective, it was not a good idea. Again, not to be too much into cover-my-you-know-what territory, I should say that I know little about the technology other than it charges fast, and it discharges just as fast. By the way, on a totally unrelated note, does anyone know how I can charge my iPOD or cell phone using a device that won’t run out of power for a few weeks at least? I might be going on a long trip where there may not be any electricity. I need something safe and weatherproof. Please send me any ideas you might have.
